Well, no... not really...The federal minimum wage rises 70 cents today, from $5.85 to $6.55 per hour. It's the second of three annual increases required by a 2007 law. Next year's third boost will bring the federal minimum to $7.25 an hour. Wowza!
And, by the way, in other news... gas, food and transportation costs continue to remain at all-time highs, and climbing even higher in some regions.
So what are you going to do with your extra 70 cents... if you're one of the "lucky" few who will receive it?
