Where The Hell Is Matt?

This always puts a smile on my face. Where's my damn passport?!!?

This is the first viral video of designer Matt Harding, who travelled to various places in the world and shot footage of himself and others dancing in each locale he visited. This was 2005 I believe. Since then, he's made two more, which have also gone on to become huge viral hits. The first one alone below has been viewed a total of 9,705,189 on YouTube. The second and third aren't that far behind. Yes, the videos were corporate-sponsored, by Stride Gum, but I still appreciate the sentiment of each.

Check out Matt’s official site for more about him, like that fact that he has a Darwinian Tubercle in one ear.

Woohoo! I'm with Matt! Now that's what I call living life to the fullest. I plan to "bust a move" in a lot of the places he has visited myself. "Bust a move"? Yeah, yeah...What can I say? I'm old school...*lol* :o)

...and the Deep Forest track was a cool addition to the experience.

    Thanks for sharing!

Me too. The soundtrack was evocative as well. The whole thing is inpirational. I'm pleased to say that I've been to quite a few of those places in the video, over my lifetime and not the 1 year that he did it in. To follow what you said, where's my freaking passport already.

Cool start to a sunny Monday morning. This video always makes me smile...! Except the bit in Norway which has me with my heart in my mouth for fear the rock he's dancing on finally falls through the gap! He's got some balls... probably why he dances like that! LOL!

And yeah, Dude, where's your passport!? I'd like to see you dancing in Trafalgar Square!

@ P - life as we experience it is finite, so "bust a move" you definitely should.

@ echo - I've been to so few of the cities he's been to. I wonder if I can get someone to sponsor me :o)

@ wendy - no passport yet. I'm planning on writing a blog about it. Maybe I can get some attention.
